We want a strong, local economy with inward investment, business growth and support for businesses (starting-up and existing), which will withstand downturns in the wider economy, and vibrant, prosperous towns, attractive to both residents and visitors. There is potential to achieve significant growth in the tourism and conference trade, and in creative sectors in Worthing. We want a diverse range of thriving businesses, so that people, including the valued younger generation, will want to take up the satisfying, sustainable employment options in the area.
